My favorite meditation exercises from this class are the Subtle Mind and Meeting Asciepius. I had the best success from these two exercises. The Subtle Mind exercise helped me clear my mind and it was very relaxing. the Meeting Asciepius made me feel connected to my own strength and in control.
I would like to start my day a couple of times a week doing the Meeting Asciepius exercise. I think this could help quiet my mind and make me feel in control for the day ahead. Then at the end of the day I could do the Subtle Mind exercise which would calm me and quiet my mind from the activities and stresses of the day.

It is so important, yet very hard, to slow our mind down --- just be quiet. When I first began this class it seemed almost impossible because I was always on the run, but you know I am training my mind to hush. LOL

ReplyDeleteThat sounds wonderful! I just sometimes feel that no one is on board with my schedule but me! I was planning on getting up early to meditate this am, but went back to bed for 4 more hours. I am feeling conflicted between enjoying my summer and being lazy. Either way I need to fit these into my day like you said at least a couple days a week.
I am glad that yo had such sucess with these practices and I wish you very best with your future goals.
